The sea sports, such as diving has a special place in this area, where the heat is gentle in its coves because of the vegetation that surround them.

Along with the huge range of accommodation, leisure and culture and local traditions, the best attraction of this region are its beaches and coves where you can enjoy the summer on the shores of the Mediterranean, with some treasures that we’ll show below.

Mar Menuda Cove

In Tossa de Mar you will find this charming cove. It is one of the smallest and most beautiful ones you will discover in the area, perfect for couples and also perfect to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the sunsets.

Codolar Beach

Behind the medieval walls of the town of Tossa de Mar, in Girona, is located this magnificent but small beach. It is very popular and you will be able to enjoy its sinigual beauty in a good atmosphere.

Grande Beach

It is the largest beach and the most crowded in the area, perfect for family groups and where you can enjoy the sun, sand and bath with all the fun of summer itself.

Sa Futadera Cove

In this cove you won’t find usually a lot of people because it is not easy to get to it, as you can only get there by boat. It is a place of a great charm and the perfect space to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Mediterranean Sea.

Port de la Selva

In this town, near Creus, are located some of the most beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava, with clean waters and a perfect environment to enjoy the summer and activities like bathing or sunbathing.

Sa Tuna beach

In the town of Begur lies this charming little city beach, just 80 meters long,  perfect for relaxing and to enjoy a peaceful space and the wild beauty of the sea.

Illa Roja beach

This is an area that is reserved for naturists, with a large rock in the middle of the beach that makes the access a little difficult, so it has remained almost untouched, is an idyllic place to enjoy nature at sea.

Aiguafreda Cove

In Begur there are idyllic places for bathing and for marine activities such as diving or sorke. This cove is the perfect place for this type of activities and far from a beach for relaxation or sun.

Aiguablava Cove

This cove offers fine sand and blue waters. It is perfect for swimming and  for the enjoyment of the coastline, with funds that are not very deep, so it becomes perfect for families and groups of friends.


In the town of Roses you can enjoy some of the calmer beaches of the area. With 13 beaches and coves, characterized by golden sand such as Salatar beach, which also has a beautiful maritime walk.
